Why $175 / 60 minutes?
It reflects senior-level experience and a fuller kind of care: a true 60-minute session (not 50), a clear plan each time, and a short follow-up email so it’s easier to keep.
Do you offer direct billing?
Not at this time. Most clients pay the day of session, and I send an itemized receipt promptly so you can submit it to your plan.
Will my benefits cover this?
Often, yes. Many extended health plans reimburse Registered Social Worker (RSW) counselling. If you’re unsure, I can tell you exactly what to ask your insurance provider.
Do you offer sliding scale / reduced-fee spots?
Yes — I keep a small number of reduced-fee spots. If cost is a barrier, mention it in your consult (or email) and we’ll see what’s possible.
How do you accept payment?
E-transfer or credit card. Payment is due the day of your session, and receipts are sent promptly afterward.
What’s your cancellation policy?
I ask for 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. With less than 24 hours’ notice (or a no-show), the full fee applies. I also offer one courtesy waiver per calendar year for emergencies.
